Grass roots Scottish Music
Glencarse Promotions was set up by Andrew Gordon. After many years of
performing solo, Andrew started performing with Euan Johnston and Iain
Anderson. The Duo’s were a success and a trio soon formed. As well as
these projects Iain and Euan also have their own projects, and it made sense
to try and pull all these things together in one place. Andrew is also helped in
this by his partner Melanie who helps keep things organised and works on
bookings in the calendar and contracts.
BANDS
Vocals, Fiddle, Guitar and Bodhran
We can put together various combinations of
musicians to suit your requirements. Our two
singers can both perform solo, and also as the
Johnston and Gordon duo. We can also
provided a fiddle and vocal duo Anderson and
Gordon. Finally all three musicians can perform
together
as the folk trio Skelpt.
Each combination has a different feel to the
music and we can discuss what might suit your
event
